Colman’s Mustard Ornate Plate Norwich Norfolk Lord Nelson Pottery 1977

 

Available here is an ornate plate advertising Colman’s Mustard. Colman's is an English manufacturer of mustard and other sauces, formerly based and produced for 160 years at Carrow, in Norwich, Norfolk.

 

The plate was manufactured by the Lord Nelson Pottery and I’ve interpreted the mark 10-77 to mean that it was produced in October 1977 (happy for anyone to advise otherwise).

 

The plate measures approximately 21.5cm across, it’s free from chips and cracks and its transfer has retained its colour.
