ALICE IN WONDERLAND is an 11.5" doll in The Storybook Doll Collection - a series of twelve (12) heirloom-quality dolls depicting characters from classic fairy tales and sold by The Danbury Mint. Alice's head, arms and legs are crafted of fine bisque porcelain; her costume is meticulously tailored by hand.  Her short dress with pantaloons and double skirt is a lovely aqua color taffeta trimmed with white satin and lace and an eyelet pinafore. Her straight blonde hair is tied back with a ribbon. She has her Cheshire cat and 'Drink Me' bottle, display stand and original certificate of ownership. The box is new - not original.   Made in the 1980's in Taiwan for the Danbury Mint. NOTE: Arms and legs are bubble-wrapped - see photos. I find no flaws with this doll.  I recently acquired this set from the original owner estate.
