Antique Vintage Baby Rattle Celluloid, over 100 years Old.  This Baby Rattle was bought from an Estate Sale, here in Georgia.  The story that was told to me, by the owner, that the Rattle belonged to her Grand Father, who lived up until 85 years old, and he gave the Rattle to his son, (her father), when he was an infant and who is now 85 years.  It is hand painted with two Infants and a wooden Duck.   The Rattle's ring, and top and bottom are made of Celluloid.  The top of the Rattle, where the Ring is inserted, have some fine cracks, this is what keeps the ring from standing in a straight position, please see pictures, I believe this comes from age, other than this, it's a fine piece.  Inside the Container, when you shake the Rattle, you hear the sound of Beads.  The main Colors of the Rattle is a mustard Yellow, and it appears to have a lime green also painted on the Container.  The Size of the Rattle with Ring included is 3 1/2" height, the Container is approximately 1 3/4" in height.  The Diameter of the Rattle's Container is 6 1/4".
