This offering is for an antique 19th century Uncle Sam Still Bank. The bank is made of a buff colored pottery and glaze giving it the appearance of yellowware or even Rockingham ware. The bank has an incised date on the bottom that I believe is 1874, it actually looks more like 1814 but that doesn't seem to fit the time frame for Uncle Sam to well. There are also two impressed letter J's on the bottom. The bank measures app. 4.25" tall and the condition is very nice with some chipping around the coin slot ans two small flakes off the brim of his hat. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 10.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
