"ICON SERIES" has been updated with a modern interpretation by selecting a model that will be the icon of the brand from the history of Onitsuka Tiger, which has been in business for over 70 years.
Shoes with the Japanese flag as a motif in 1960, and shoes with the "UI line" in 1964. Then, in 1966, the first model equipped with the Onitsuka Tiger stripe was created,
and the model that is the prototype of MEXICO 66, which still symbolizes the brand, was born.
"ICON SERIES" is a collection focusing on these three models.

Reprinted the model worn by the Japanese national team in 1964. In addition, the original is reproduced with the balance of the sole, heel flap, and heel reinforcement parts with arched midfoot. In particular,
the UI line on the upper side and the tongue label with the letters "TOKYO ONITSUKA" are details that were unique to these shoes at that time.
