GENERAL POLICY 

COMBINED SHIPPING NOTE: We are happy to combine shipping whenever possible if you purchase multiple items from us!!  Put all of the different items in your cart BEFORE paying, and then "request total" from seller - this should be at the top right when you are in your cart before you click on go to checkout.  We will combine shipping (if we are able to everything in the same box) and we will send you an invoice with the correct amount.  This way you don't overpay, and we don't have to hassle with refunding your overpaid shipping.  If we can NOT combine the shipping (if the items will not fit in one box), we will let you know. 

If this (or any) item is on AUCTION, we will NOT entertain offers, please do not send offer inquiries for items on auction.  If this (or any) item runs the course of the auction and is not sold, it will be placed in our store at a higher price.  Once an item is listed in our STORE, we will generally (but not always) entertain reasonable offers. 

USED/AS-IS ITEMS DISCLAIMER: For any used/as-is listings, please review the photos (with zoom) for condition and count (if relevant) prior to bidding. To avoid any issues, please read the FULL description of what we are selling and do not bid if it is not fully understood.  Unless listed as new/unused, some or all of the items may be faulty or damaged. Any/all cleaning/restoration/repair (if necessary) is the responsibility of the buyer.  

We use the USPS to calculate shipping and will combine shipping whenever possible.  We are NOT responsible for the amount of time USPS takes to deliver your item once it has been received into their system.  We add minimal handling charges to our items.  You will receive notification of shipment with tracking information directly from eBay. 

Items purchased on Friday may not be shipped until Monday.  While we do ship on SOME Saturdays, shipments are generally processed Monday through Friday during regular business hours. 

If payment is not received within 3 days an automatic unpaid item case will be opened on eBay.  If you need additional time to pay for an item, please request this BEFORE you place a bid.

If you are outside the United States, we ship internationally through the eBay Global Shipping Program.  We cannot see nor change any information showing for international shipping.  If your country does NOT show up from the drop down menu, the item listed is not eligible to pass through US Customs to you through this program.  If you have ANY international shipping questions, you need to direct them to eBay Global Shipping customer service as they will not discuss their rates, policies, or fees with us.

WHERE DID IT COME FROM? 

In early 2016, we began clearing out our father's 1500 square foot warehouse that has been used to store a seemingly infinite number of items since 1970.  Our family owned a military surplus store in the 1970s, and he purchased surplus in bulk at Department of Defense Auctions from local Military Bases (Alameda, Mare Island, and Hamilton).  All inventories that weren’t sold when the store closed (circa 1977) were stored in this warehouse.  He had accumulated many tools such as wrenches - a large number of 1-1/4" and larger that were used for ship building, CASES of fasteners, screws, nuts, washers, etc., most are aviation and nautical, general military surplus including clothing, patches, flight suits, flight helmets, and thousands of miscellaneous items.  The collection includes a very large number of naval block and tackle (wood frames with iron sheaves and hooks, painted battleship grey, with single, double and triple sheave sizes), some helicopter and airplane parts (mostly hydraulic actuators/servos, some clamps and small connectors), and other random items such as office supplies, medical devices, small boat props, glassware, dishware, and "DANGER MINES" signs from the early 1950s just to name a few.  Most of the military surplus was made and manufactured in the 1950s and 1960s and much of it is still in the original packaging with dates and part numbers.   

Our father purchased most of these items by the pallet, so the volume is overwhelming.  In fact, the warehouse was packed to the rafters with boxes when we started.  He did not exclusively buy military surplus; he bought the inventory from many local business that were closing their doors, such as a lamp company, a record store, and a number of book stores.  This huge warehouse has slowly been filled with other random items purchased over the years, so we have countless glass lamp shades, vintage metal (mainly brass) lamp parts, and boxes and boxes and BOXES of books and LPs which we had already been selling online since 2007.  We have worked extremely hard to whittle down the inventory to a manageable amount, so we are now, finally, able to slowly start putting some items up for sale.
