A rare and extremely attractive nautical map of the SHETLAND ISLES, issued in 1914, by the British Admiralty.


This chart shows details of BALTA SOUND, and the islands of UNST, BALTA, & HUNEY.

Features both nautical and inland detail noting both topographical features and thousands of depth soundings (in fathoms). Important ports, Island and navigational points are carefully noted.

This 1916 edition has no printed corrections.


Note - The orange/red markings on the chart indicate the location of navigational aids, such as lighthouses, beacons, markers, Etc. They can be added / altered on a chart by means of Small Corrections.
