This is an antique schoolhouse / industrial style ceiling light fixture with its original 14-inch diameter milk glass conical globe.  The globe was removed by an architectural salvage company from a 1930`s building being torn down.  These globes have been stored for many years since they were first salvaged.

This listing is for the one fixture & globe pictured.  I have 1 other the same as this one, all removed from the same building. I also have several smaller 12-inch-wide globes and fixtures of the same design and from the same building listed.

Each light is intended to be listed, sold and shipped separately due to their size and large glass globes that must be well packaged and will not combine for shipping.  Please let me know if you are possibly interested in others.

The fixture`s fitter is solid brass and is new.  The brass plated canopy is new as well.  The new chain is brass plated steel.  The globe is unique because of its concentric sections.  It is right from the height of the Art Deco Period.  There are several small rim chips under the fitter that do not show or affect the beauty of the light.

From the ceiling canopy to the bottom point of the globe the light measures 42 inches.  The globe at the widest is 14 inches in diameter.  The fixture canopy mounts flush to the ceiling.  Adjustments can be easily made for most customer requests.

I am offering to exchange, if requested, the hanging chain set up for an antique flush mount fixture to accommodate lower ceilings in many of today`s homes.  The flush mount fixture is pictured at the bottom of these photos.

It is recommended that a licensed electrician install the fixture to meet the codes in your state.  Any damage that might have happened in shipping must be reported to the seller, including photographs, within 48 hours of delivery.
