A rare and extremely attractive nautical map of the MEDITERRANEAN SEA - ALGERIA, issued in 1940, by the British Admiralty.

Covers the details of the PORT D'ALGER ( Algiers ).

Features both nautical and inland detail noting both topographical features and thousands of depth soundings (in fathoms). Important ports, Island and navigational points are carefully noted.

Note - The orange/red markings on the chart indicate the location of navigational aids, such as lighthouses, beacons, markers, Etc. They have been updated, added / altered on a chart by means of Small Corrections.

Originally published by the British Admiralty in 1912

This 1926 edition has printed corrections to 1953.
