Unusual training book encased in a cardboard box exclusively for Steiff Dealers.

The outer box measures 12.5" x 9" x 1.5"

Four interior removable pages that are heavy stock and printed both sides.

Made in Germany and printed in English.

This retailer reference training book was designed to educated the buyer about the history, quality, working standards and attention to detail for the Steiff Company and their products.  The guide also includes a page with six fabric samples and descriptions.  Also explained, with four samples, are the "inner" quality values of a Steiff animal -showing bags of synthetic stuffing, rhombo foam chips, excelsior and pre-shaped foam material.

Finally, the tags are explained along with the attached paper booklets with care and washing tips.

I have no knowledge how many of these were produced, but since this was not available to the general public, the quantity would be low and make this a very unique addition to a Steiff collection.

** Please note - two of the exterior edges of the box are slightly frayed - interior pages and attached samples are in mint condition.
