The bag has a generous velcro flap which accesses two deep interior pockets. Each pocket is approx 11.5" high, 6" wide, and will expand past 4". For reference it looks like 4-5 rifle/carbine mags would fit in each pocket. You could also fit an IFAK in one of the pockets or approx 10 pistol mags. It would make a good SHTF bag.
