A very pretty mid century watercolour by Olivia Phillips.

It is a still life of Spring flowers, cornflowers, narcissus, helleborus and harebells, displayed in a vase in front of a curtain.

Signed and dated lower right 'Olivia Phillips 1964'.  I do not have biographical information about this artist but unfortunately mid century artists, particularly women, are often difficult to trace as the record keeping of Victorian/Edwardian times had stopped and it's pre Internet.

The painting is in excellent condition, bright and unfaded with no spotting or toning.  It is very well presented in a cream coloured card mount and a very complementary washed wood frame. Both mount and frame are in excellent condition.

Glazed and ready to hang.  Please excuse any reflection in the photographs which have been taken through the glass.

Measures 41 x 35cm including the frame, the visible painting only is 28 x 23cm.

Postage £7 to mainland UK, £20 to mainland Europe and £30 to the USA.  For other destinations please contact me for a postage quote.
