Royal Edition limited to 1,250 sets of which this is number 897. 10 of 30 volumes. 8.5x6.25x1.25 green cloth covered boards. All spine labels are intact although a few are darkened. Uncut page edges. Backside hinge of Vol 14 is cracked (pictured), no pages are separating. Upper page edges are gold gilt. Heavy set. The books do not have a strong “old” book smell.

I have not seen many sets with uncut page ends.
