A fine rosewood library/bracket clock dating to C1850. The twin fusee movement of 8 day duration with anchor escapement and striking the hours on a bell. In good working order with a clean movement and recently overhauled and oiled. The thick bevelled edge glass is in good order with the back door glass replaced. Lovely silvered dial in excellent order with roman numerals and moon steel hands and matted centre. The dial signed "Henry Cox" Nottingham with the case having great colour and patina and retaining the original front door lock[no key]. A large size measuring 16 inches high[41cm] x 12 ins wide[31cm] x 7.5 ins deep[19cm]. Comes complete with pendulum and a winding key.
