1930's Gramophone Electric Motor by Garrard. The scarce U5 model that used the Earlier model EM brushed motor in the more modern A.C type all-in-one housing. An Ambitious Electric motor that has a fault somewhere between the Commutator & Brushes. I had this running properly for a few minutes & now it's getting stuck. It is at least a very good example of this scarce early Electric Motor from Garrard.
