An attractive and decorative antique sterling silver cigar case.

A lovely substantial and heavy piece, made from heavily engraved sterling silver, the case is gilt lined and still retains most of its rich gilt finish.

The engraving has a foliate design and spans the front and the back, the top of the cigar case has a vacant cartouche so this could be personalised if desired.

The cigar case has space for three individual cigars.

It is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham Assay office, Thomas Hayes, 1900.

Condition:
Good used condition overall, some patina, light surface wear, general signs of use, snaps tightly closed, some light wear to the gilding.
