This is the Panasonic digital camera model DMC-LZ8.  The best features about this camera is that it takes any AA battery - alkaline or rechargeable.  You can basically power up using any battery.  The second great feature is that lens.  It uses Leica lens that is known to be the best type in photography.

Notice - the back lcd screen has a broken / crack.  The LCD still works fine but you can see that crack in the photo.
