1. These unique keys are carefully designed and engineered to work on locks that use KW1, SC1 & 4, Y1 & 2, and M1 keys.
2. CAUTION: These key disables lock forever any time you need stop someone that has a key or has been picking the lock. Lock still works from other side of door.
3. Some very skilled locksmiths may be able to remove this key but you should assume the lock is destroyed and must be replaced.
4. Normally used by landlords, law enforcement, and others needing to immediately disable a lock on the spot.
5. "Similar" un-engineered lockout keys commonly retail on other websites for as much as $12.00 and more.
How to use:
1. Insert Key in desired lock to be disabled. The key is not removable. Quantity Type 2 Yale Y1 Key-way 2 Master M1 Key-way 2 Kwikset KW1 Key-way 2 Schlage SC1 Key-way
2. If you wish to have added security, break-off the head (bow) of the key leaving nothing accessible to pull out. Key is engineered to easily break-off the head (bow).
3. No Key will be able to enter the lock and the lock is now virtually un-pickable because of the key's unique design.
4. When you need access, open lock from other side of door, remove the lock or drill the lock cylinder.
5. Replace the lock.
IMPORTANT NOTE: These keys only disable the mechanical operation of the lock cylinder they are inserted into. If the lock can be opened by other means such as a combination or electronic keypad the door can still be opened.
