One matched pair of early 6922 tubes, by Philips of Holland and for Rogers, Philips' subsidiary in Canada.

Featuring D-getter, gold pins, long tube body. D-getter tubes were only produced for two years after the invention in 1958.  After that, O-getter followed. Early tubes are more desirable for sound quality, but they are extremely rare to come by.

One  tube  was made in the first year of production, in 1958.

The Philips codes:  ▲8L  and  ▲9E (made in 1958 and 1959 respectively, only one year after the invention and production date in the second half of 1958).

Very high ratings.

Test Ratings:  105/105 and 105/105 on my Jackson 648s tester, minimum is 70, new tubes at about 106-108.
