A rare and extremely attractive nautical map of CHINA, issued in 1906, by the British Admiralty.

This chart shows great details of the PROVENCE of SHANTUNG

Features both nautical and inland detail noting both topographical features and thousands of depth soundings (in fathoms). Important ports, Island and navigational points are carefully noted.

Note - The orange/red markings on the chart indicate the location of navigational aids, such as lighthouses, beacons, markers, Etc. They have been updated, added / altered on a chart by means of Small Corrections.

Originally published by the British Admiralty in 1906.

This 1906 edition

has printed corrections to 1930, with later hand written entries.
