SIDE SLITS -- Play the piano without taking the entire cover off!
Our
piano covers come with side slits (an included $60 upgrade). Side slits allow
you to play the piano without having to take the entire cover off. Put
on each side of the piano above the front legs, simply flip the front
part of the cover back to play the piano. On standard piano covers, you must remove the entire cover to play the piano.

A heavy duty piano cover, this material combines the durability of Mackintosh with the added padding of quilting (Mackintosh is an attractive and popular fabric, as it has a softer and warmer look to it that vinyl.
It is not prone to snagging (for those of you with cats who like to jump
up on the piano)). The 4" quilted pattern gives an attractive look and is backed in a soft micro-fiber fabric that will not scratch the finish of your piano. The fabric and quilted design look great in any setting, and the durability is a large plus for schools, universities, hotels, churches, banquet rooms, etc.
We recommend the quilted mackintosh in situations where you need the
additional durability of the cover and protection of the piano. There is thicker padding to the quilted mackintosh cover, if there is concern
that items will be bumping up against your piano (for example if it is in a school, showroom, you have little kids running around the house, etc.). The outer layer will also add more protection to the piano. Standard quilt uses a nylon material--the more rugged mackintosh will hold up better to outside damage and possible tears.
Measuring your Piano:
Want to double check the size of your piano? To measure the size (length) of your grand or baby grand piano,
measure in a straight line from the rear of the piano to the very front
of the keys. It's best to do this with the top closed, making it easier
to measure in a straight line. You will need to get the full length of
your piano, so be sure to measure from the very back end to the very
front of the keys (in front of the keys).
