A superb vintage Quimper open vegetable bowl that dates from mid 20th century. The classic design features a Breton man playing a pipe in a French landscape, flanked by sprays of pink and yellow flowers. It is signed on the underside. We note that there is a thin wire passed through two holes on the rim of the underside that can be used to hang the bowl on a wall.
The condition is excellent. We do not find breaks, cracks or crazing and have provided detailed photographs for careful examination.
