NOTICE
The NEJE A40640 module adjusts the focus to Long focal end by default. This is because the NEJE factory has to ensure the consistency of product testing.
When you receive the product, it is recommended to use a flat-blade screwdriver to adjust the focus to 2-3mm from the light shield.
It is normal for the A40640 module to be slightly non-uniform in the XY direction of the far focus. This is a compromise of zoom design, not a quality problem. You can reduce the non-uniform XY cutting by narrowing the focus.
The lens can be rotated with a flat blade screwdriver. prevent the lens from leaving the module and prevent dust from entering the interior to damage the optical system.
The outside of the lens will be stained with the surface due to smoke or oil and water, and the lens will be burned due to the accumulation of beam energy. Therefore, try to keep the habit of cleaning at the beginning of each use or after the introduction.
When cutting MDF leather and other materials, it is necessary to reduce the cutting focus, and add air assistance of no less than 30psi. The NEJE A40640 module gives away metal high-pressure air assistance, which does not require additional purchase.
When the air compressor is used as the air source, an oil-water filter needs to be added. Ordinary oil-water separators cannot filter oil-water 100%, so they need to be cleaned regularly (several hours) If you plan to use it for cutting wood, leather and other materials for a long time, it is recommended to purchase high-quality high-capacity oil and water filters Note that the ordinary oxygen generator can only be used for protecting the left and right of the lens. It is recommended to start it during normal engraving or ordinary cutting.
ABOUT HIGH PRESSURE AIR ASSIST
When do you need high pressure air assist?
Air-assisted engraving or cutting can only be used for engraving or cutting that produces more carbonized substances. Generally, the depth of engraving is less than 1mm, and the cutting of plywood less than 2mm does not require air assist. A small fan can be used to blow off the smoke generated by the engraving. Air assist is not recommended when engraving images, and adding air assist at this time will destroy image details.
If your project will produce more smoke, it is recommended to use an oxygen generator to protect the lens for a long time.
If you are used to cut wood, MDF, cardboard, leather and other materials that produce a large amount of carbonized substances and need at least 30psi of air assistance, it is recommended to use the air valve accessories provided by NEJE to control high-pressure gas
