A beautiful 18th century wooden tea caddy with beveled edges and detailed marquetry on the front. A lithograph adorns the inside of the lid where there would typically be felt; this was likely added to the piece by a descendent of the original owner, as these caddies were often passed down through generations. It adds another layer of intrigue to this rare tea caddy, and elevates its display value.
