A one of a kind Liquor decanter made in the early 1900's for use by a ship's Captain. The super wide bottom makes it more stable for the high seas (although I would still strap pillows to it and put it in a box on a ship lol). Clearly hand blown with irregular but smooth areas. The bottom where it was cut away from the firing tools is deep with a ridge. The stopper is my favorite part. Again very clearly hand blown by the irregular shape, beautiful blowing bubbles inside very dense solid glass. It catches all the light! It's 12 inches tall with the stopper in and 9 inches without. The base is about 9 inches wide.

Weighing 4lbs and 2oz, this decanter is a perfect addition to your collection. The craftsmanship of this piece is evident and it was handmade with care. The time period of manufacture was from 1900-1919, making it a true antique. Add this to your barware or nautical collection. Use it or display it!

I believed this item was actually used on a ship 100 year ago. The large irregular shaped bottom is to prevent tilting as a ship sways.
