Pontiac attached their door panels with special hardened nails which were spot welded into door edge metal. The reproduction edge metal does not have these nails. Also, many times one or two of these nails rusts out and cannot be reused when a door panel is removed for repairs. CPR's nails are correct replacements and install and fit the original grommets or door holes.
