These beautiful dark green transferware bowls are of the
highest quality and sharpest design. They are a late chinoiserie-style
pattern, made in the Josiah Wedgwood Pottery, England. The scene depicts pagodas,
a bridge, and water scene with a boat. Stylized
flowers and ornate scrolls decorate the surround. A pearlware glaze is evident. They measure approximately 1 ¼” tall and 6 ¼”
in diameter and are marked as shown. Condition
is excellent with just a bit of surface wear but no chips, cracks, or repairs
that I can see. These are just
wonderful. Thanks for looking.
