They love saltwater or fresh water fish tanks.

They do not need to be in a tank.

You can grow indoors or outdoors.

These are from Atlantic Ocean Saltwater.

You can also place in brakish or freshwater.

No need to acclimate.

You can place in cup of water, or vase, or just cut a platic bottle in half.

They do not need salt. They can tolerate salt.

You can place in salt or freshwater.

Only cover halfway or less, place brown side down. Never cover the pointy top, they need to breathe. Can place in floaties with pool tube or tie to the top of your tank.

Give these plants water and light and they will grow fast.

If you do not have aquarium or hydroponic lighting you can use any light bulb. I also recommend to place near a window that gets plenty of sunlight. You can grow outdoors if in sunny area or in shade during summer.

Places where it doesn't snow they can survive outdoors all year round.

They do not need any soil or dirt.

They can survive in water alone.

However you can use any dirt, including sand, gravel, soil, pebbles, or a mixture of any substrate.

If you place in pot make sure there is no drainage holes. Otherwise you will need to water daily. These are no maintenance plants. Just make sure they get light and always stay wet. They will be fine. They are tough and resilient. They survive long shipping trips from Florida to Europe.
