Selling my Peluso 22 251 Tube mic. Used but still in very good condition, hardly a mark on it really but the wooden box has two or three marks. Basically a much cheaper version of a Telefunken ELA M 251E.

Comes with its own power supply and wooden box for storage along with the case and shock mount. Other than that is all in great condition and fully working.

What you get is what you see in the pictures, no original cardboard box.

The Peluso 22 251 is a large diaphragm tube condenser microphone which aims for the sound of the vintage Telefunken ELA M 251E, originally designed and built by AKG in Vienna. The 22 251 uses a Chinese-made dual diaphragm/dual backplate capsule with edge terminated design, skinned by the Peluso company with 6 micron mylar. The 22 251 inverts the 6072 tube for shorter path between the capsule and the grid of the tube, as in the original ELA M 251E.

Early models of the 22 251 used a CineMag output transformer, but most microphones were built and shipped with a Tamura transformer based on the AKG T14.

The 22 251 offers 9 selectable polar patterns on the power supply, whereas the original ELA M 251E microphone offered on 3 on the head assembly of the mic.
