The 2012 United States Mint Limited Edition Silver Proof Set contains eight coins in proof quality displayed in a unique protective lens and presentation case. This product had a production limit of 50,000 units.

 

Coins in the 2012 United States Mint Limited Edition Silver Proof Set are as follows:

• One American Eagle One Ounce Silver Proof Coin
• Five silver proof America the Beautiful Quarters coins honoring El Yunque National Forest (Puerto Rico), Chaco Culture National Historical Park (New Mexico), Acadia National Park (Maine), Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park (Hawaii), and Denali National Park and Preserve (Alaska)
• One silver proof Kennedy Half-Dollar
• One silver proof Roosevelt Dime

The quarters, half-dollar and dime bear the “S” mint mark of the United States Mint at San Francisco and are struck in 90 percent silver, generally referred to as “coin silver.”

 

The American Eagle Silver Proof Coin is a collector version of the official United States Mint American Eagle Silver Bullion Coin and bears the “W” mint mark of the United States Mint at West Point. Each American Eagle Silver Proof Coin contains one ounce of .999 fine silver.
