Here is a beautiful antique Japanese bronze lotus centerpiece bowl from the Meiji Period (1868-1912). The bowl is raised on it's coiling lotus stem with two other leaves. A tiny frog is climbing on the front side, with Japanese characters to its bottom right, not sure about top character but ones following might translate as: Weird, Way, Friend, Next. In Good Condition for it's age, seems to have been originally all white, with wear present, pitting present and when held up to the light can see 5 tiny holes. As its aged has given it a lovely character. Measurements: 8" H x 10" W x 8.75" D, bowl diameter is 8". Weighs approx 5 lbs 2 oz. Please see photos for details. If you have any questions please ask prior to buying. Thank You!
