A Harrods Knightsbridge London hand-painted ironstone jar for one pound or 450 grammes of Beluga Caviar ordered Christmas, 1978. James Bond bought his caviar at Harrods, Fortnum & Mason and when dining in public at Maison Prunier St.James''s. This amazing good condition useful relic of a lifestyle long gone measures 5 1/2'''' tall, 4'''' diameter and 5'''' deep. Holds exactly one pound weight or 450 grammes. The white PVC watertight screw-liner is in perfect condition. Thick walls protect this 3 pound container. This is being sold empty without caviare!
