Up for sale is this Vintage used 2 Conductor version Black Dimarzio DP-100 pickup. This pickup is the “F” Spaced. This pickup is in amazingly good condition especially considering it’s age. (See Pics)
This is a very early example of this pickup from the 80’s as I’m unclear as to when Dimarzio started the “F” spacing of the Pickup Poles. Since the “F” doesn’t stand for Floyd Spacing it stands for Fender Spacing. However this is one of the early ones being that it is the 2 conductor wire version or better know as the two wire lead (Black wire & White wire). Third wire being the ground wire, where as the previous version had a metal shielding over the two lead wires that acted as the ground wire and literally only had two wires (Black wire & White wire) This one has the black plastic shielding and looks to have been hit with the soldering iron at one point but it didn’t go through the lead wire coating just the black outer shielding. (See Pics) This pickup also has the slotted screw heads on the bottom plate instead of the Phillips head screws the later versions have. This pickup was fully functional before I pulled it and it sounds amazing. This one was pulled from a 1982 Kramer Pacer Imperial guitar in the bridge position.
Pickup reads 14.06 - 14.07ohm on my meter and the original lead wire is just over 10 inches long. (See Pics)
2 Screws & 2 springs are included with this pickup. Though I’m not sure if they are the original screws and springs but they are the ones that were with the pickup when I removed it from the guitar.

DESCRIPTION :
