The pedigree of this collection is clear for all to see, as three of the roses included, 'Pascali', 'Queen Elizabeth' and 'Peace', are all previous winners of the coveted 'World's Favourite Rose' award.
This set includes five bare roots, including one each of:
- Rose 'Arthur Bell' - Bright yellow bush rose with a strong fragrance. Grows up to H105cm x W60cm.
- Rose 'Queen Elizabeth' - Soft pink bush rose with a moderate fragrance. Grows up to H105cm x W60cm.
- Rose 'Peace' - Primrose-yellow Hybrid Tea with a gentle fragrance. Grows up to H120cm x W90cm.
- Rose 'Pascali' - Creamy-white shrub rose with a delicate fragrance. Grows up to H110cm x W90cm.
- Rose 'Scarlet Queen Elizabeth' - Red bush rose with a slight fragrance. Grows up to H150cm x 100cm.
Supplied as dormant, bare root roses in autumn and winter, ready to plant straight out, and they will shoot away the following spring as temperatures warm up - will flower in the first year after planting.
Supplied as five grower quality, bare root bushes with three or four stems per bush minimum. Dormant, ready to plant straight out, they will shoot away when temperatures warm up in April and May.
- The amount of growth on potted roses will vary at different times of year, depending on when they are potted.
- Potted roses will be freshly potted from November to February, so are not fully rooted through.
- They will have new shoots beginning in March and April.
- They will be in leaf and then buds May and June.
- They will be in flower June and July.
- From August onwards they may be trimmed back, ready to plant and burst back into life the next season.
- From the end of September your rose has received its trim which will help it to have stronger roots and better form next year.
