An attractive, nicely designed antique, Georgian era, 18th century wine or cordial glass.

It has a tall and nice thick stem, a relatively small bucket type bowl and a wide chunky folded foot.

It is really quite something to examine the master craftsmanship of the early and mid 18th century glass blowers and quite wondrous how well such fragile pieces stand the test of time.

Slight knop at the join of stem to foot and a slightly rough pontil mark.

A very lovely example of a Georgian plain stem glass.

Georgian era, c1740s.
