I developed this motor because I was frustrated with the original Lima motors, they were either stopped or just about full speed. My motor will start to pull (with load) at 2.5 volts and will reach full scale speed at about 7.5 volts. It moves of in true loco fashion creeping along and gradually increasing speed.
This motor performs like a 12 pole motor without the size
No carbon brushes to wear out
I had over 30 Lima locos on the shelf because they did not work as good as the upmarket locos I have, until I fitted this motor.
I had no choice in the raising of the postage cost because Aust Post will no longer accept my padded envelope because of the motor height, so I now have to use an Aust Post supplied envelope which I now have to charge $5 for ( they cost me $5.39 each) but that price covers the envelope, the postage and the tracking. Good news is that I can fit up to 10 motors in the one envelope. If I dont charge for the postage I may as well not sell the motors as the only cost rises in the last 5 years have been postage. I have sold over 1200 in 5 years with 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK (have a look at the feedback).
Each motor is fitted with a NEW nylon gear + extra gear and 2 pieces of heatshrink
My mobile phone number is on the Instruction Sheet
I recently sold in a job lot 40 to the UK
Sent with Aust post tracking number
STOP PRESS: Now using the backing plate to mount the motor with instructions.
