  2. In this vintage Hasami-ware with mesh openwork, the pattern from when the pot was turned on the potter's wheel may be visible through the gaps in the glaze. Either way, the fact that it is handmade certainly adds to its individuality. Known for its beautiful and high quality work, including openwork and fretwork, this piece dates from the Showa period of the late 20th century, from 1926 to 1989.
