Offered here is a very rare find. Produced in the 1950s, this is a 100mm F3.5 Kalimar in Exakta mount. The lens was made by Piesker in "West Berlin Germany". It is in a short mount which means it needs to be attached to some sort of focusing device like a focusing bellows or focusing helicoid. It has a beautiful very round multi blade aperture that helps the lens to produce nice bokeh. The lens is coated. The optics are bright, clean and clear of any haze, fog, fungus, marks or anything else that would have a negative impact on image quality. The aperture range is F3.5 to F22. The lens is beautifully made and very small. This lens was formerly owned by an engineer who collected unusual photographic lenses. He told us that in 40 years of collecting , he had never seen another lens like it. Why not add it to your collection today.
