Built by William Cramp & Sons, Philadelphia, Penn. as a 13,680 long tons ship with length of 504' and beam of 69'.
2 x vetical triple expansion reciprocating engines; 2 x screws, 22 knots.
Complement of 80 officers and 745 enlisted; 64 marines.

Launched 25 April 1903 and commissioned 19 Jan. 1905.

Decommissioned 28 Sept. 1927. 

Renamed PUEBLO, 9 Sept. 1916. 
Sold for scrap 2 Oct. 1930.

She was a PENNSYLVANIA class armored cruiser.
