This is a hand made pine needle basket, with a horse head pottery medallion as the base to begin the basket. It is in excellent condition, and very pretty. I see no signs of breakage, dry rot, or wear on the piece. It would be lovely in a MCM room on a teak table, or a craftsman’s style room, or southwest style room. I do not know the age, but I do know the medallion in the middle can still be found to purchase on Etsy, so I would assume it was very recently made.
