I painted her with many layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints. I added mottling and veins. She is sealed with a matte finish so she doesn't get shiny. I added a gloss finish to her nails, mouth, nose and corners of her eyes. I even added nail tips. She has open nostrils which are backed with black felt for a realistic look. Her eyes are ethnic brown, and are shatterproof polymer.
I hand rooted curly, black mohair to her scalp and eyelashes. I glued the mohair to the inside of her head with industrial strength glue. Her eyebrows are painted. Care should still be taken when brushing or styling the hair.
Her limbs, head and body are weighted with fine premium glass beads and stuffed with 100% polyester Poly-Fil so she feels like a real baby in your arms.
She has a strong earth magnet glued to the inside of her head behind her mouth so that she can take a magnetic pacifier. Please keep in mind that persons with pacemakers should not be near magnets.

As with all these kits, there are always some type of imperfection. Johannah had a tiny flaw in the surface on her right index finger. I painted it to make it look like she has a tiny scratch. See photo. This does not take away from how precious she is.
She will come home to her new mommy/daddy wearing a diaper, the pink polka dot onesie and pink pants as shown in the photos. She will be wrapped in a blanket. She will also come home with the blue romper. The stuffed bunny and bear are props only and are not included in the purchase. She comes with a COA.
I will securely package her so that she will be protected from any wet and damp weather conditions.
These dolls are considered art dolls and are not meant for child's play. Care should be taken when handling these dolls.
