PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. Shortly after I opened my business at a mall in 1998, I purchased some Furby. Actually, I purchased and sold more than 250 of them in less than one year. Furbies  hit a chord with kids--and even adults. I always try to put away a case or two or five  of items I think will become a collectible 20 or 30 years later. In the case of Furbies, I put away one sealed case of 12. I don't know the particular Furbies inside the case, since, unlike Superman, I do not have  x-ray vision. A few months ago, an all white Furby sold on eBay for $500. I have seen recently a number of hard to find original Furbies sell for $125 to $250. In the past 12 years I have NEVER seen a sealed case. I cannot say this is unique because there might be a man or woman in Carson City, Nevada who still has 15 cases of the original 1998 Furbies in a storage facility, But I doubt it. This case is 26 years old. It has never been opened. As you know, a sealed case of any collectible generally goes for at least double, triple or even quadruple the cost per unit of a single item. If I were using as a guide somewhere between double and triple the value of 12 single Furbies NOT in a sealed case I would probably price this case at $3,000 or more, given the rarity of sealed cases of the original Furby. My price is just $2,388. Not a penny more. Not a penny less. As an investor, I would not open the case. Ever. This is a Buy It Now listing. I never discount my Buy It Now listings since I started on eBay more than 23 years ago. ALL my prices are fair. They HAVE to be. This is NOT my hobby. This is how I have earned a living for the past 27 years, including the last 23 years on eBay. That means I have to sell my items in a timely manner. Otherwise, I will hear my wife say something like this: "Hey, Jerry, when are you going to make a deposit at the bank?" Fortunately, that has not happened too often the past 27 years.  As an investor primarily, I try to sell some of my investments to lower my initial cost. THIS IS THE ONLY CASE I HAVE FOR SALE, AND THE ONLY CASE I HAVE SEEN ON EBAY FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS. Here are the rules: 1) No discount. The price is $2,388. 2) Please add $58 for insured shipping anywhere in the continental U.S. 3) I also ship worldwide through eBay's International Shipping Program. Ebay charges a fee for this service so check eBay for details. I have already shipped to more than 25 countries and 49 states, but NEVER to South Dakota! What's with that? 4) If you have a question, please ask. 5) I invest primarily in five areas: sports cards, framed and unframed photos, rare Beanie Babies and vintage toys, Marilyn Monroe items (somebody has to do it!), and Pokemon cards and plush. 6) I am proud of my feedback on eBay, encompassing more than 7,400 separate transactions since 2000. 7) The most important rule of all--DON'T FORGET RULE NUMBER 1. Thank you for reading this far. I get paid by the word. Don't I wish! Stay safe. Jerry P.S. On Wednesday, May 1, 2024--today--I went to my warehouse and found an opened partial case of 10 Furbies, which means I had a long time ago sold two of the Furbies in the case. I went through the case and found five different Furbies. The partial case had the same 70-800 code as the sealed case I am selling. My best guess is that the sealed case contains at least five different Furby styles.
