“Air Show” (1940s?) 8mm Film Home Movie, War Planes, Parachutes, Bombers, Rolls

Great footage of an early air show with military and commercial airplanes showing off for the crowds. Planes doing barrel rolls, corkscrews, flying in formation, some paratroopers parachuting to the ground and more. Fun footage to watch knowing that these were the latest in aerospace advances at the time.

FILM CONDITION:

Film is in good condition, ran smoothly and has no detectable vinegar syndrome.

Some streaking and there was a short segment that looked like it had done watermarking.
