The Works of Hogarth. Published by J. Dicks. London. Undated, circa 1880s. Original crimson cloth pictorial gilt. Measures approx 14 x 10 3/4 inches. 136pp, with 68 full page illustrations. Condition: Covers are slightly rubbed with slight wear at the spine ends. Internally the bookplate of Edwin A. Dawes (Biochemist, Magician, Historian of Magic & Collector), inner joints are cracked but remain firm, an area of wear on the front endpaper, but contents are generally clean & unmarked. Good+. Heavy book.
