LEBANON (1921)

She was built at Hog Island, Pa in 1919  Named LEBANON. She was a 5,562 GT ship. 

Acquired by U.S. Navy and renamed VEGA (AK-17) ion Dec. 2, 1921. She was refit by the Navy and had a crew of 15 officers and 91 men. 

renamed LEBANON IN 1946

She was at Pearl Harbor, Dec. 7, 1941. She unloaded her cargo of ammunition. Until Jan. 1944 the ship was homeported at Puget Sound. She was awarded four battle stars. 

Decommissioned Jan. 15, 1946. Scrapped at Terminal Island, California.
