This is a vintage Art Deco Szanto, Icart style print titled ‘Commence’.

Given its Art Deco look, I would estimate it dates circa 1930s or 1940s.

The overall frame measures 19 1/4 inches tall x 23 1/4 inches wide (48.9 cm x 59 cm). The visual part of the print measures 13 1/2 inches tall x 18 inches wide (34.3 cm x 45.7 cm).

The image is a beautiful woman walking her two dogs. It is done by Louis P. Szanto (1889–1965). I’m not sure if this is a hand colored etching or a lithograph. Please use your judgment.

There is one noticeable section of damage, which is a stain in the upper right section on the mat. There are some other scattered spots on the mat. The print has a small round darkish spot just above the leash. Otherwise, it looks like it’s in very good condition.

The frame has a number of scattered nicks and dings to the surface. Still, it goes beautifully with the artwork. It is also original.

It weighs 4 lbs. 9 oz. (2.07 kg).
