Welcome ><> offered is a RARE Antique Chinese WHITE JADE w/ SCALLOP / SCALLOPED Edge PLATE w/ a Chinese MAN w/ Quite Intricately Hand Carved FACE, HAIR & HANDS as a Center Piece HANDLE(?). The PLATE is in very good to excellent condition w/ one very slight line which is natural. The MAN, we believe to be made of Lead w/ the Hand Carved Head, Hair & Hands holding a 'paintbrush' in his right hand. As for the HEAD a tad loose & the right hand comes completely out (we believe the original 'bonding / attaching' agent was a 'blob' of the Chinese Red Paint ~ see photo) & this fine RARE item is being sold as~is for you to reattach hand, though stays in place while not disturbed, there are natural age darkened grain lines on the man's face, hands & his hair tail. The FEATURES of the Man's hands, fingernails & his face & hair were expertly accomplished.
