There is a switch on the back of the display. When you turn on the switch and press the button on the front of the display, the blue LED and white LED will blink and turn on for a certain period of time.
Furthermore, the presence sensor lights up a white LED for a certain period of time when someone approaches.
(The motion sensor will not respond unless left for a certain period of time.)
There is no power cord, so 16 single alkaline batteries are used.
To replace the battery, you need to remove the 4 clips on the bottom of the display.
