Late 19th century revolving magazine or newspaper holder/ stand.

You can get creative and use it for something else too!

Intricate geometric weaving

Made from oak wood and brass

Tripod stand

Period: Victorian

Pairs nicely with modern designs as well

Approx Measurements:

29”H x 13.75” x 11.5”

Magazine slots are about 1.75”W

Condition: A majority of the original hardware is present with the exception of bolt and screw on bottom base as shown. Also, some of the wires that hold the panels upright have been changed out and over the years. The wires are very delicate and most likely will need to be replaced, again, over time (nothing major)

The hardware needs tightening and reinforcement. Stand is slightly wobbly, slanted and loose. Some of the brass plates are lifting (tightening needed). Wood has some chips, dings, surface scuffs, scratches, discoloration and wear from age. There are some bends and loose pieces to rack. Brass has oxidation, aging spots, scuffs and wear. It is not my personal preference for shining brass but if it is yours it will need to be shined. There are a few spots(white paint) and stains. The stand shows age and wear. Nice patina throughout. Repairs, reinforcement and or touch up needed.

Sold as-is, as shown.

I love this little number! It’s fantastic!
