This metal detector has sensitivity adjustment, discrimination, and a headphone jack (plug in, not wireless), runs on two 9 Volt Batteries (Not Included). Comes with a carry bag, and fold up digging shovel. It is brand new in the box (open box). I did quickly remove the machine from the box and perform a bench air test (make sure it is working), it detected gold as small as a half gram (not bad). It did well on small silver coins, up to large silver coins, and indicated on regular clad change. This could be used by a kid or an adult.
This is a single frequency machine.
